TRIGR is an international, randomized, double-blinded trial.
The hypothesis to be tested is whether hydrolyzed infant formula compared to
cow's milk-based formula decreases risk of developing type 1 diabetes in
children with increased genetic susceptibility. (Recruitment is
completed; no more babies will be enrolled.)
